Trivia Night Fundraiser
How much do you know...or think you know? Now is the time to challenge friends, family and total strangers to find out!
This summer a group of students from Lone Jack High are traveling to Washington D.C. as part of an EF Smithsonian Student Travel trip. They will be touring the nation's capitol and multiple civil war battlefields in that area. The group is being led by Ken Howard, 7th-9th grade social studies teacher at Lone Jack High. In order to offset some of the costs associated with this trip, the group will be hosting a Trivia Night Fundraiser on March 9th, 2013 in the high school commons. This as a team event consisting of 8 members per team (age 15 and older). The cost per team is $80.
Registration is open RIGHT NOW! We encourage each team to purchase mulligans - $10 for ten mulligans. One mulligan can be used for each round. There will be ten rounds with ten questions per game and the answers are filled out on paper so no one has to answer out loud! Each game lasts only eight (8) minutes. First and second place cash awards will be made at the end of the evening. There will be a 50/50 drawing and to give some time to stretch about half-way through the evening, Heads and Tails will be played, so bring some extra cash with you.
Doors will open at 6:00pm and play will start at 6:30pm. The evening’s fun should end around 9:30pm. This is a “bring your own ‘goodies’” event. Since this event is being held on school property, no beer or liquor of any kind will be permitted, and smoking is not allowed.
To register call Kim at 697-2215 or e-mail email@example.com. Get your team together, register now and we will see you on March 9th!
