Letter of Recommendation Packet
This packet must be completed and you must meet with the counselor at least 1 week prior to the due date for the recommendation letter to be sent. Since the counselor does not meet with you daily he will need information about you from a variety of sources. The quality and depth of the letter depends on the information you provide.
Steps you will need to take in order to secure a letter of recommendation from the counselor.
- Obtain a letter or recommendation packet from the Counseling Office or the online site.
This packet includes:
- Complete and/or distribute each piece of the packet. See each form for instructions.
- Schedule a 30 minute appointment with the counselor for a date 1 week before the letter is to be sent. Be prepared to talk about the forms, the college where the letter is to be sent and due date.

ALL FORMS ARE NEEDED 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE!
