Biographical Information: I am currently in my sixth year of teaching in the Lone Jack School District. I went to Truman State University where I was an active musician in the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Brass Choir, Student Brass Quintet, and other chamber ensembles. I taught Brass Methods and pedagogy at Truman and have taught in summer band programs within the Blue Springs and Fort Osage School Districts. I have performed with the Kansas City Symphony Brass, Fountain City Brass Band, Independence Symphony, Ottumwa Symphony, and Lee's Summit Symphony. I have won multiple scholarships from the International Trumpet Guild and have performed in several concerts at the M.M.E.A.(Missouri Music Educators Association) Convention. My lovely wife of eight years is a labor and delivery nurse at St. Luke's East in Lee's Summit and is a nurse practitioner at Associated Women's Clinic. I have a daughter who is five, a son who is three, one dog, and a couple of fish.
