Stomping Out Hunger
This begins our third school year collaborating with Harvesters - The Community Food Network, to bring the Mule Pack Program to families in our area.
At the end of each school week, a bag of foods and snacks is sent home with students in Lone Jack and a neighboring community. We are currently sending home over 100 backpacks every week. There is no need to "qualify" for this program; it is designed to assist any family that needs support.
Need in our area continues to grow. If you are able to help, monetary donations and grocery items are happily accepted at any time. Below is a list of groceries needed in our pantry. Contributions of any size are welcome!
Our food pantry is located at the high school. Food donations may be delivered to the high school during school hours. Monetary donations are accepted at the school offices, or mailed to Karen Fiene, 313 S. Bynum Rd., Lone Jack, MO 64070.
If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Armstrong, 697-2811 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
New students can be added to the program at any time. You may sign on for a matter of weeks, months, or the school year – it’s up to you!
