Job Description:
An AMPM Teacher is responsible for the supervision of students Preschool-5th grade in designated AMPM areas. While supervising, the teacher is expected to be interacting with students in a positive and encouraging manner while helping with any activity that is planned for that day. The teacher will also take part in keeping the designated areas clean, organized and safe. Specific daily directions for the teacher will be given by the AMPM Director or the Lead Teacher. The teacher needs to have strong leadership skills, the ability to build caring relationships with students, be friendly and approachable, and abide by all district policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
-Must be able to work flexible hours. We are a 12 hour program, open 6AM - 6PM. Will be given a daily shift, but possibly need to work different hours to help cover when short staffed.
-Must be able to work on closed school days, possible snow days and summer months.
-CPR and First Aid certified. Training can be completed through the district after hire.
