Governing Priority: Facilities

Governing Objective: Prepare for the long-range facility needs of the District.

Annually, ensure all building entrances and access points meet or exceed Missouri Senate Bill 68 safety standards, verified through annual third-party audits, with any deficiencies addressed within 90 days.

Prior to Spring of 2027, develop a prioritized facilities improvement plan addressing maintenance and upgrades aligned to student and staff needs, including a strategy for the vacant building and land northeast of the high school, with progress reviewed twice annually.

By 2026-2027, complete critical renovations of all identified bathrooms and primary learning spaces to meet current safety, accessibility, and educational standards, tracking progress quarterly and ensuring all projects remain within budget.
