Governing Objective: Academic Achievement
The school system administers assessments required by the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) to measure academic achievement and demonstrates improvement in the performance of its students over time.
Annually, at least 65% of all assessed LJC6 students will:
-Score at the Proficient or Advanced level on the state assessment, and
-Score at the Meets or Exceeds level on the STAR spring assessment.
Annually, at least 60% of students in all subgroups at LJC6 will meet or exceed their projected growth on the STAR assessment as measured by the Spring administration.

Professional learning activities support effective instructional practices in the school system.
Prior to the 2029-2030 school year, all math, science, and literacy teachers will receive training in evidence-based instructional strategies with a high effect size for student achievement to enhance instructional rigor and improve student learning outcomes.

Governing Objective: Viable Curriculum Aligned to Missouri Learning Standards
Instructional staff implement a comprehensive, rigorous, guaranteed, and viable curriculum for all instructional courses and programs aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards where applicable.
Prior to the 2027-2028 school year, the district will establish a curriculum committee and develop a curriculum review calendar to ensure consistent review, updates, and fidelity of core and elective curriculum.
