Congratulations to Mr. Jared Ripley on his award of $500 from the Missouri Retired Teachers Association!! He applied for additional funds for Nelson Art Gallery field trips. A 5 state MRTA region, 68 applicants, 7 winners. Great work Mr. Ripley.

Please see the attached flyer. First Student drivers, along with LJC6 staff will be riding the afternoon routes on MONDAY! Families come to your bus stops and connect with the drivers and staff. The hope is we catch any students or stops they may not have been communicated. We look forward to seeing you and may even have a handful of candy to give to students too!!

First Student & LJC6 will run a practice route the afternoon of Monday, August 19th. During the regular bus route times 3:20-4:30pm. Come to your stop and wave at your driver and LJC6 staff members.
Great way to double check your bus stop location. If you do not see a bus, ensure you call First Student at 816-732-6541.

Make note of these dates as we get closer to the start of the new school year. First Student Bus Company will be present on Aug 12th (MS HS) & 13th (Elem). Both dates also allow for any family to complete registration on site if there were online issues.
ANOTHER DATE TO MARK ON YOUR CALENDAR! LJC6 First Student Drivers will be doing practice routes both AM and PM on Monday, August 19th. We encourage all bus riders to be at their stop the afternoon of the 19th to wave to drivers & LJC6 staff and to ensure you see a bus.
